A fixed- effects model is selected as appropriate, specifically a least square dummy variable (LSDV) model.
It is imperative to note, however, that there are two broad categories of fixed-effects model, namely the LSDV and the within-group effects.
In general, we considered the LSDV panel data model with the following possible assumptions.
This composite index is used in regression analysis (LSDV) and the effect is positive and statistically significant (see Table 9.5).
The relationship between these variables was tested using a fixed effects model, more specifically, a least square dummy variable (LSDV) model (please consult Chap. 9 for a detailed description of the statistical techniques employed).
